II. Attraction -> Consent -> Play: A practice
May 19 @ 19:30 - 22:30
Do you have a better understanding of your desires and want to practice more?
Is a lack of confidence stopping you from having an eventful and satisfying sex life?
Are you done with being scared of rejection?
At Level II A practice, we will recap all we learnt and discovered in stage I of Attraction -> Consent -> Play: A preparation (ACP). We’ll work with the intention to develop and nourish life-enhancing skills, such as eloquence, presence and confidence to become a better ally, friend and lover so that we can enjoy ourselves (and others) not only at play parties and sex positive events.
We will concentrate on the practice of meeting others and sharing open communication about desires and boundaries, asking for what we want and welcoming the vulnerability of being seen.
Do you want to know how to stay open and not go into isolation mode after rejection?
We’ll include vital work on hearing NO, and how to accept rejection as an inevitable part of life, without it getting in the way of new connections, exciting encounters and great sex. We’ll explore the concept of the comfort zone to enable us to discover layers of desire and understand how to stay empowered in our decision making when it comes to pleasure and asking for what we want.
In this workshop you are welcome to engage in the following:
– Confidence building – practice makes perfect. Get your consent muscles ready!
– Work with rejection – how to stay open when we encounter NO
– Concept of your comfort zone – discover the layers of desire at your own pace and levels and understand how one can always stay empowered in decision making
– Connect with others and share yourself in safe and sex positive space
We have a lovely venue in St Werburghs Bristol. It has accessible step free access and accessible toilets, which will be gender-neutral for this workshop. There are kitchen facilities to make hot drinks. Full address provided upon your booking.
Choose from a supportive, regular and cons rate from £10-£20.
Available to those who attended ACP I in Bristol or elsewhere, such as festivals. The intention to practise what we need the most but have been taught the least. The group will be mixed gender and everyone will be encouraged to meet others as they are, without assuming their gender identity and orientation. Heteronormative, homophobic and disrespectful behaviour will be challenged; after that, those who continue with such behaviour will be asked to leave.
